Along the 77 kilometres of the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs, 33 rest areas await the cyclists. A good number of these rest areas include a belvedere while most are equipped with complete sanitary services.

Description des haltes

The path is crossed by numerous brooks and rivers and many of the entrances to the bridges have been prepared as rest areas. The running waters bring freshness and diversity to the landscape as well as adding an interesting element to the journey.

Signs of interpretation on fauna and flora give information on the nature surrounding the path. This way the cyclists gain knowledge about the blue jay, the beaver, the Virginia deer, the chipmunk, the silver maple, the black fly and the rivers of life.

Bordering the path are kilometre-markers to inform hikers and bikers of the distance while some blue signs are present near urban zones to show certain service points. In addition, interregional signs are found along the path showing the distances between municipalities.

The Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs is the backbone of several bicycle circuits in the Bois-Francs and Erable region.
