Opened in June 1997, the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs (bicycle path) begins in Tingwick and goes through Warwick, Saint-Christophe-d'Arthabaska, Victoriaville, Princeville, Plessisville, Laurierville to end in Lyster. This path gives access on the South side to the Corridors Verts path in the Eastern Townships and to the Northeast to the Parc linéaire of the Lotbinière RCM (direction Quebec City), furthermore to be link by a junction to the «Vert» Le Village Fleuri, which leads to the municipality of Kingsey Falls.
Built on a former railway line with 90% stone dust along 77 kilometres of path and contains a maximum grade variance of 2%, the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs for the most part passes through the Saint Lawrence Valley which is composed of wide plains and panoramic views offering cyclists a feeling of ultimate freedom
Marked Route Verte and recognized as a Trans Canada Trail, the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs has been awarded several prizes by the tourist industry. In 2000, it won the « National Laureate Silver » at the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois in the category of outdoor tourism and adventure 10,000 visitors and, this year, was named « Tourist enterprise - Public choice award », given by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Bois-Francs region.
In 2006, the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs has been named « Laureate regional » at the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois, in the category «Outdoor and Adventure» and it also received the prize of Ambassadeur par excellence, a prize awarded by Tourisme Bois-Francs.Tourisme Bois-Francs.
