The Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs has a team off well-trained patrollers. They travel the path from May to October to ensure the security of cyclists. Equipped with a first aid kit, cell phones and other equipment enabling them to make minor repairs to bicycles, the patrollers also help walkers and cyclists to find the tourist information they need.

In addition, the patrollers uphold the regulations on the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs, notably activities permitted along the path: walking, biking, strollers, electric-motored bicycles and tricycles, wheel chairs and roller blades (in asphalt areas) and finally, jogging. It is forbidden to ride horse-back or circulate with a gas-powered motor (ATV, automobile, motorcycle, etc.) along the trail and camping, fishing and hunting, camp fires are not allowed along the 77 kilometres of the trail.

These volunteer patrollers wear an orange vest and are identified by a plasticized card authorized by the Parc linéaire des Bois-Francs.
